Descriptif
Are you looking for an engaging, dynamic English class to improve your speaking and listening skills? Games and Gaming is what you need!
We will learn about and play a wide variety of games, look at tech innovations and the future of the video game industry, discuss topics such as cultural tastes and differences, ethical concerns and gamification in education and in marketing. There will be student-led activities, debates, presentations, roleplays, analyses and reviews of your favourite games.
But there is so much more to games than that! They also teach us valuable skills such as communication, sociability, problem-solving, fast-thinking and strategy. They hone our reactions, our eloquence, and our abilities to improvise, to imagine and to create. They can help us function effectively in a team or independently, train us to understand complex instructions, situations and possible outcomes.
