- Practice your reading and listening skills on a number of abstract ideas and concepts.
- Develop your skills as a historian, a philosopher and a political theorist.
- Discuss and share your opinions on these topics in English in a stimulating environment.
Activities
- We will look at source material together in class and you will have to respond accordingly.
- Read and listen to introductory material before the class, which will all be available on Moodle.
Assessment
- The final assessments will be based on the presentation of a final podcast that deals with a related topic of your choosing. There will also be a bonus or malus point (-1, 0 or +1) for your contributions in class and various audio-based tasks.
